Looking to add some extra pizzazz to your bathroom or kitchen? Forget bold paint colors and vibrant accessories—this might be just what you’ve been in searching for.
Glitter grout is a relatively new medium that has been growing in popularity, judging by its ever-increasing presence on social media. The pre-mixed variety from the British retailer Staffordshire Silicones, which comes in a variety of colors including beige, black, blue, gray, and red, recently received a lot of attention through this viral Facebook post.
For around $30, you can deck out your own bathroom or kitchen with this sparkling material using a bag of glitter grout flakes from Lowe’s or a bucket of the pre-mixed solution from The Home Depot. It’s definitely not for everyone, but you may feel inspired to use the reflective stuff after you see what some brilliant designers and homeowners have done with it.
Best done in small amounts and neutral colors, it’s an excellent way to dress up a bathroom. Just add a chandelier and some luxe candles, and it’ll be the most glamorous space in the house.
