Summer officially arrives today, which means it’s time to finish up those last-minute preparations around the house. For me, that looks like finally taking down my spring decor and replacing it with fresh, warm-weather flair. Most recently, I’ve been brainstorming ideas for a new summer wreath. Today, I’m sharing some inspiration I’ve collected in the process. Take a look, and see what you think.
Lend a touch of whimsy to your front door with a wreath that says, “Hello.” This simple, inexpensive project starts with an object you may already have lying around: a hula-hoop.
Embroidery hoops are a must for the modern wreath-maker. Change it up a bit by incorporating two hoops in your wreath design.
Taste the Tropics
Felt is a fun way to go faux with your flowers. Craft your own blooms or buy them pre-made.
Flowers aren’t the only way to bring color to your wreath — consider vibrant citrus fruits for the summer months. Faux fruits will last you all season long and save for next year, too.
Cool in Copper
Copper pipes and a triangular shape give this unconventional wreath an ultra-trendy look. Swap in flowers or greenery of your choice.
